XEvil 2.01 for UNIX

Download

Choose the architecture that most closely resembles your machine.  You can use "uname -a" to find out about your machine's architecture.

All other UNIX platforms, download XEvil 2.0 or get the 2.01 Source and compile it yourself.

To Install XEvil

This is a standard compressed tar file.

zcat xevil2.01.somemachine.tar.Z | tar xf -

Copy xevil to some appropriate location such as /usr/local/bin or somewhere in your home directory then run it.
